Bollywood Star at Energy Globe Award 26.05.2008

Another world famous Bollywood star, Aamir Khan, will join on Monday evening in Brussels (BEL) to present one of the prizes at the ENERGY GLOBE Award. Khan, who will present the World Award in the category Earth, arrived in Brussels on Monday afternoon together with ENERGY GLOBE jury chairman Maneka Ghandi. The hugely popular Khan, 38, ranks as one of the top-earning actors in all of Asia.

The European Union Parliament will open its doors for a second time on May 26 for the mega event for the environment. The ceremony will feature a number of prominent guests -- including EU Parliament President Hans-Gert Pöttering, EU Commission president Jose Manuel Barroso, U.N. General Secretary Kofi Annan as well as top recording artists Alanis Morissette, Zucchero and Dionne Warwick -- who will present the international awards for winners in five different categories: Earth, Fire, Air, Water and Youth.
